# FastRAG

> FastRAG is a production-ready RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) starter kit for Next.js. It ingests PDFs and web pages, stores embeddings in Pinecone, and answers questions with cited, streamed responses from Claude. It is sold as source code: Starter $19 and Pro $49, one-time (launch pricing), with lifetime updates and a commercial license.

Key facts:
- Stack: Next.js (Pages Router, JavaScript), Claude Haiku 4.5 for chat, Voyage AI voyage-3.5 embeddings (1024 dimensions), Pinecone vector database, Cheerio for scraping, pdf-parse for PDFs, Upstash Redis for demo rate limiting.
- Ingestion: PDFs up to 20 MB and public web pages (server-rendered HTML; JavaScript-only pages are not supported).
- Answers stream over Server-Sent Events; the first event carries the sources.
- Each tenant or session gets its own Pinecone namespace.
- Delivery: private GitHub repository access via Gumroad (https://workwithtrp.gumroad.com/l/szinb).
